Flatbread
Serves: 8 or 16 flatbreads
Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
4 cups plain flour
30g any Nutri V vegetable powder
50g butter (or 50ml olive oil for vegan option)
2.5 cups boiling water
Pinch of salt
You will also need:
2 medium mixing bowls
Method:
Place flour, vegetable powder and salt in a bowl and mix.
In another bowl with boiling water, add butter and let it melt.
Add wet mix to the flour mix and stir through with a knife until mostly mixed, then tip on the bench and knead until combined and smooth. Add a little more water if not fully combined but shouldn’t be wet or sticky to handle.
Divide into even amounts, either 16 small wraps or 8 larger ones.
Roll out each ball and with a little flour between each.
Heat a heavy bottom pan until very hot.
Cook each wrap for about 1min on each side (if the pan is hot enough they should puff up a little).
